Default The plan for this cycle

Well, after quite a few tears and going back and forth and back and forth, the plan for this cycle is... nothing.

DH's stance is basically that he is done with having babies, but that if I want another baby, he'll "do whatever he can to help me get pregnant." He would love to have another 2 year old dropped off on our doorstep, but he's just not into doing the baby stage again.

What REALLY SUCKS BIGTIME is that I asked him, if I was a regular person who could get pg anytime, and I said, "hey, I don't want to ttc but let's not go on any birth control and see what happens" he would be totally fine with that. And if I got pregnant out of that, he would be totally fine with that too. But the whole idea of purposely trying is what's bothering him, even though there's no way for me I can get pregnant otherwise. I told him that's not fair, and he totally agreed.

I honestly think that we'll try again at the beginning of next year. I just need to get up the nerve to go for it, and not worry that if I did get pg and a third baby was totally overwhelming it'll be all my fault. I know though that Josh already has a sibling, (and so does Matthew) so if I had another baby it would totally be because *I* want to. I love having babies with DH and raising them together. It makes me feel selfish... but I need to figure out that people get pg just because they want to all the time.

So for now I guess we're "on a break." I am hoping to lose some weight and hopefully get in better shape to carry a baby next year sometime.

I'm so sorry things haven't worked out as quickly as we all hoped! I hope a nice break from the stress will do you both some good. Focus on you for a bit and the beautiful family you have!
