Tdelane needs to say hello
Default Provera and Clomid ???

My husband and I have been tring for 14 months for our third child and this is the first month that i have taken Provera and Clomid and I was just wondering the success rate with these drugs and how quickly do they work.. Thank you so much for your help. I am so stressed and just ready for our third and last child. I feel like i am being so selfish asking for a third.

I too had problems conceiving my thrid child. It took us 19 months to concieve. I never used Provera but I did use Clomid. I used it for 5 months. My doctor asked me to skip the next month and then if I wasnt pregnant still then we would move on to IUIs. Well low and behold that next month with no Clomid I was pregnant! The doctor said that the Clomid help regulate my ovulation. My daughter is now 10weeks old tomorrow. I hope that you are able to conceive quickly. Good luck!

I took them. It just depends on what your fertility problem is, how well you time intercourse, and just plain luck on how fast and well they work.

With my first it took 5 months on the Provera and Clomid, with my second, we don't know if it actually worked or not, we were on it, and then took a break, and had the HSG done and got pregnant that month, but we had been using it for around 6 months at that point...
