Hi Ladies, here is my question. I am TTC and my periods have been regular for a few years. I've been off the pill for 18 months and have tracked my period since then religiously. We have officially starting to "really try" and I'm looking for a little guidance. My period started 10/28, ended 11/2. We have had sex on 11/4, 11/6 and 11/8. I am supposed to ovulate on 11/12 (Thursday). Do I have sex tomorrow, skip Wed and again on 11/12, or double up (go Tuesday and Wednesday?). If I ovulate on 11/12, I imagine I would want to have those swimmers ready, so what should we do?

I'm sorry if this is confusing. I just want to do what we should do as best as I can.

Definately do the dance on Tuesday and Wednesday. I am not pregnant now, but I have a 10week old. I ovulated on a Wednesday but DTD on Monday. You want to have the little swimmers there when the egg is released. If you want to be on the safe side those just DTD on the 9th, 10th, 11th and if you still have energy on the 12th. That way you get your bases covered. But you need to make sure you ovulate on the 12th if you dont, keep having sex until you ovulate! Best of luck to you! Thanks. I'm also learning the abbreviations, I like DTD much better! Ha! Now, is it true that men need a day to "recharge" their swimmers, or no? I also have read that in the morning is more optimal time to DTD since their count is higher. So we DTD last night, so maybe I'll go in the AM tomorrow, Wed and Thur. Thanks again!!

Yeah "some" men need to recharge IF they know they have a low count. You have a good plan if you dtd tomorrow morn, wed morn and thursday morn. I hope you catch that egg!

Me too! I have no idea if my hubbie has a low count, seeing as we've just starting trying.
