Default quick! I heard from the doc and need your thoughts

The doctor gave me 2 choices.....

Here's what she suggested....

Two options:
1. you can take supplemental hormone stimulation after ovulation to support the length of the luteal phase - I would suggest HCG 2500 units every three days following insemination. It is given by a TINY injection just under the skin.

2. You can change from clomid to FSH stimulation. The pregnancy rate is better, but 5% of women who conceive on this become pregnant with more than twin (15% risk of twins).

I did the fsh stimulation with Josh and got... just Josh. I need to decide tonight so I can e-mail her and get this show on the road since tomorrow is day 2 already.

I'm not in any position at all for multiples -- daycare alone would bury us!!!

If you are sticking to the mantra "balls to the wall" I'd go for the FSH, otherwise I would stick with the clomid.

Would you regret or second guess yourself for not doing the FSH or would you be more upset about ending up with many babies.

***And, if you got multiples -- you could share with us here!!

I don't know... I don't know I don't know I don't know!

I *have* decided that this next cycle is it for awhile, maybe forever (unless there were some sort of divine intervention). I am going to cry buckets and rivers if I don't get my bfp, but I have to think about the wonderful life I already have, and giving my boys the best life possible. I can't do that with the constant stress and anxiety I can't seem to shake while ttc.

I would be done now, except with the LP being 8-9 days, it really didn't even have a "chance" of working. All I want is one chance. One cycle where pregnancy could have happened. If it doesn't, I can say ok move on, it wasnt in the cards. This is your family.... and I can still be happy.

OH... I don't know.
