Cool sooo..... new and nervous...

I'm new to this site and excited!

I have always questioned my "womanness" because I have never felt maternal... at all. To the point that it almost cost me my marriage. I know, crazy.

Any way, my husband and I have been working on our relationship for the last year and a half (we have been married 9 years, but together almost 13) and about 3 months ago, someone flipped a switch and I started wanting to know what it feels like to be a mom. Then over the last 2 months, its hit me like a ton of bricks!!

It's exciting and strange all at the same time. In this economy (we both work in the construction industry) I am worried about our jobs and money and logistics and being good parents and breast feeding (completely scares me to death) and so much more...

Anyway, that's it for now, any advice is greatly appreciated!!

Welcome to the crazy world of babymaking Jen! I love your Baby instructions BTW. We're working on baby #4 - mine are very spread out, in fact my oldest is a freshmen in college so I feel like the old lady of the bunch. DH is in construction too so I understand your anxiety. Jump right in, it's good to have you.

Thank you!! We have just recently started trying (within the apst 2 weeks). We were going to wait until the new year, but I got anxious.

What do you feel is the best way to track ovulation? Is it temp? Is it one of the tests? Is it just tracking your cycles?? I'm so new to this!!

I am just doing CM right now. We are trying to have a low key month so I'm not testing or temping this cycle. OPK are easy and a good starting point.

Welcome! I normally do Opk's they for the most part are easy.I tried temping but I get focused on remembering I loose sleep during the night.

If you have an idea when you should ovulate your getting a good start in the right direction.
Glad to have you!
