Unhappy surgery cause of infertility?

I had hurnea surgery as a child right above my uterus , could that maybe be part of the problem?

I know the scar tissue is really bad down there i just wonder could that contribute to it?

has anyone tried to conceive and had a dream about having a baby and was just convinced that they were probably successful this time?

Hi there.

First of all I wanted to say that I am truly sorry you are having a difficult time conceiving. I wish you all the best in your ttc journey- which will hopefully come to an end soon with you being pg.

Secondly, I tried to do an internet search on hernia surgery and fertility issues, but I couldn't seem to find anything related to women. The only thing I found that was even remotely close said that if a couple is having trouble conceiving and they go in for testing that often times the tests will turn up something related to the man having had hernia surgery at some point in his past. And even then, from what I gathered it shouldn't cause sterility or anything like that, and therefore should not cause any permanent ttc issues.

I think I would check with you doctor to see if maybe he or she can shed any light on to your particular matter for you. I'm sorry I couldn't be more help.

unless there is some massive scarring with your reproductive organs I would say it probably isn't an issue. How long have you been trying to concieve? Also do you know when you ovulate (O)? There are a lot of factors to consider when trying to concieve. Are you charting your cycles to get an idea of what an average cycle looks like?

Sorry to be so nosey.

I have to agree with the other ladies. Unfortunately, only a doctor might be able to tell you what the issue is. Have you seen one yet, what did they tell you?
I hope your dreams are true, and this is the cycle for you.
