Default Temping?

I know nothing about temping but I think I would like to try it. Can anyone give me some basic pointers? And what are you looking for - temps to go up or down - for pregnancy or ovulation?

You really need to temp from Day one of your cycle. You will generally have low temps until you O then your temps will go up. After O your temp shouldn't dip below your baseline, which is your last temp before you Od. If your temp stays high or goes up that is good, if your temp goes below the coverline that means that you are probably not pregnant and you can expect that hag to come calling. I haven't charted and temped since ttc DD 7 years ago so if I got it wrong ladies set Chandra straight.
