I had my DD when I was almost 35 after TTC for 2yrs and I am now almost 38 and would love to have another one.

If you feel you want to have a baby then I wouldn't look at age as a big problem especially at 34.

I just wanted to mention that age, in fact, DOES increase your risk of twins, even without fertility drugs. Age itself can definitely be a factor in the birth of multiples. This is only true of fraternal twins though, not identical ones. Also, the number of children you have had previously can affect your chance to have twins. A woman over the age of 35 who has had 4 or more children previously is THREE TIMES more likely to have twins than a woman under 20 experiencing her first pregnancy.

I think the age issue is so individual! Some folks don't want to be parents until they're in a more mature financial and emotional stage--so I don't think an arbitrary number is good for anyone.

You're welcome! I knew about it because I used to be interested in becoming an OB/GYN, so I studied up on stuff like that.
