I want to let you know miracles do happen. I was diagnosed with Endometriosis, PCOS and dh has a low count and I felt the same way you do just hopeless, But I started taking metfomin for the PCOS and after months of clomid, HCG shot's, dr. visits a IUI that did not work and even a miscarriage. I decided to take a break and during that break from all the drugs I ovulated on my own and now I’m 6 weeks pg. I wish you lots of luck and I hope my story can be a silver lining for you!

I would suggest talking to your Dr. about getting on Metform for PCOS because that’s what has helped me start ovulating on my own. It had worked for lots of woman with PCOS. Good luck

A lady from one of my lists said we could pass her post around to all that could benefit from it, so here it is:

I just wanted to share what worked for me this cycle.

I have PCOS, and RARELY if ever ovulate on my own. After pouring
over "herbs for infertility" and diligently writting down EVERYTHING
from Vitex to selling magic beans to Jack I started looking for these
things. Then I started researching estrogen deficiency and came up
w/the same answers and found that a product marketed for menopause
relief (Estroven) has the SAME herbs with no "medicine" in it, in one
tablet. So off I went to the store...I am a price comparer (hence
using New Phase).

It has Vitamin D, Vitamin B, Folate (folic acid), Vitamin B12,
Calcium, Maganese, Kudzu Root, Soybean, Red clover (this mix
actovated with Isolase plant ensymes), Chaste tree berry, green tea
leaf extract, black cohosh root, and Boron as the "main ingredients"

I bought the Extra Stregnth Version...and its instructions are "take
1 pill w/meals" and that it may take upto 4 weeks of CONTINUOUS use
to gently balance hormones. Well I took 12 pills starting on CD
1...and I OVULATED, and had a 14 day lp! Now I did ovulate late, appx
CD if I take them RELIGIOUSLY without stopping I wonder what
will happen? Even better, I typically EVEN WHEN HAVING AN IUI WITH

It even warns on the package DO NOT TAKE IF YOU ARE ON THE PILL. I
am SO EXCITED. I am going to try it again this cycle and see if it
works again...if it does I am going to continue taking it through our
next medical intervention which will likely be in March...none of
Western Science has why not try this!

I am so sorry your having a hard time. Your not a failure. One out of 8 couples struggle with infertility. You are not alone. Just keep holding on and fighting.

I don't know much about PCOS or the hormone problem your doctor mentioned. I do think it's wonderful your finding out what's going on and moving to fix it. I really think you won't have to wait much longer.

Thinking of you.
