I don't really feel like re-living the first 3 times we got BFP's....
But THIS time DH didn't know I was going to test (he is not very good at keeping up with things....LOL), he works 24 hours shifts and I tested one night (at 11 DPO, at night...weird I know) and it was POSITIVE! It was very faint but I *knew* it was a BFP. I had some digital one and I had done one the day before and it said "not pregnant" but I knew that had been too early. So I decided to wait until the morning to use the other digital. But when DH called to say goodnight I just blurted out "I think I'm pregnant!!" and he was just like "Okay, well we'll call the doc tomorrow" (It was VERY hard for us to get excited at that point with all the let down's we had had we just didn't want to get too worked up) So in the morning before he got home I did the digital and it of course said "Pregnant" so I called my friend and waited for DH to get home. He saw those words and was so happy.
As far as telling my family, my niece was only 2 weeks at the time and so I called my sister and said "So how does Hannah feel about having a cousin?!" and she was elated. We only told my parents and my sisters (because we knew how supportive they'd be and how much we needed that) before we had the u/s where we saw the HB, then we told everyone!!!!!!

with the first one we had been ttc for 1 1/2 years. I tested with he was at work expecting a bfn. We were good friends with his boss so when it was bfp I called his boss and told him and told him not to tell dh. so he let dh off early and told him there was something at home that needed to be taken care off. I wrapped the test up for him. He opened it laughed and said its about time. then we just called all the family and told them

With #2 it was almost 2 years of ttc we just moved and i had pretty much given up on ever getting a bfp. we didnt have any furniture in our house yet because it hadnt arrived. I tested at work because I just had a weird feeling. I can home and he was sitting on the air mattress we were using as a couch and I dropped the test in his lap and said well we cant use that bedroom for a guest room anymore. His response was your kidding right? We told our families on Christmas
