...For today, that is!

No... seriously. I got my period today (hey, one great thing about my LPD- I only have a 1ww) and I called DH today in tears from school because I am just so exhausted from all the ttc'ing, disappointment, traveling an hour each way to the clinic, etc. As much as I want another baby, I'm just so "over" all of it, and thinking it's just time to let it go. I don't want to waste anymore time being sad or stressed out or cranky from meds with my kids. Time is just going soooooo fast and they're growing up so quickly. On the other hand, I don't feel like our family's complete, and I don't want to give up on it, especially since I had a miscarriage.

So anyway, most of the "regulars" here know that dh is doing this because he knows it's important to me (though he got so excited when I actually got pregnant), so this would have been a PERFECT time for him to say "You're right. You should just let it go."

But he didn't.

He said he understood how hard it is for me, and that he totally "gets" how exhausted I am from all of it, and how much better it would be if we didn't have to go through so much to even have a chance. He said that it has been a tough road, considering all the times we had to do IUI to get pregnant this last time, and then to lose the baby after all of that. He went on to say, "Well, maybe we should try one more time and see how you feel?"

He's not a super-emotional person at all and I was so happy for the rest of the day because of it.
