OMG!!! Why on earth would they tell you that?????
PCOS in no way makes you infertile!!!!!!!!!!! That is an awful thing to say!! I know 3 ladies who have
PCOS and all of them have children. One lady didn't even know about having
PCOS until she'd had 2 children without any problems at all. And my best friend has
PCOS and has a son.
PCOS is associated with some people having problems with their fertility, but it in no way makes you infertile. I am outraged that that have given you such a negative outlook and have given you such a bleak prospect.
My best friend (who, as I said, has
PCOS) tried for 4 years with 'traditional' infertility treatment, had no success, but went to see a naturopath and within 3 months she was ovulating regularly, was losing weight and the following month she was pregnant.
Do not give up. This is not the end of the road. Do some research, find a naturopath who has experience of treating women's health and go and have a consultation.
