Default Getting pregnant after a loss

For those of you who got pregnant after a loss, when did you start to feel like the pregnancy was actually going to turn into a budle of joy that you brought home from the hospital? Of course, I need to get past the repeat b/w next week and the initial u/s in 2 weeks, but then, will I start to feel better?

Sweetie I am going to be very honest with you. I never got over that scared feeling. I did feel better after bloodwork and u/s and hearing the hb and all of that, but there was always that worry. Just take it one day at a time, and know everyday puts you one step closer to holding that little blessing in your arms.

I was going to say the same thing as Melanie. I finally felt relieved when I'd pushed his head out and heard the doctor suction his mouth.

I started getting used to the idea of an actual live baby once I could feel him moving and stuff. We own a doppler so using that each night helped (but it also made me worry more because he had an irregular heartbeat

).

Once you're in the Loss Club, that fear is never totally gone.

Gosh... when I got the bfp I worried a little but waiting for "the call" and reading SO much into a number made it all come flooding back.

Deanna and Melanie are right - there is always a bit of a shadow following -- Every test brings a new round of worry.

You do enjoy lots of it, but the love always carries some worry...
