Default Ovulation Calculation...

Okay, so I know there is probably no response that will be helpful...I guess I just want to talk about this!

My last period started on January 12th.

My cycles vary from 24 to 28 days. We have had sex EVERY STINKING Day since the 16th! 7 times in 7 days.

For the past two days my discharge has been just like the message boards describe it to be prior to ovulation...

I know this sounds silly but I am totally burnt out on sex! We really want to have a baby...anyone else been in this situation?

Moral of the story is....I'm totally anxious...confused about the whole ovulation timing...and just want to know!!!!

So I guess my question is... are you most fertile when your discharge is heaviest?

thanks for listening....

Actually, having sex every day is not really a good idea. Men need a day or two to recharge their supply. Usually ovulation occurs about 10(give or take) days after the first day of your LMP. SO you may be good but you may have over done it. If you feel burnt out then take a break and wait until you feel more in the mood.

Every other day is fine, honestly. You are most fertile when your discharge is most similar to egg white - stretchy and slimy. I would give yourself a day or two off so sex isn't a chore.

I recommend this book to everyone who wants to conceive and has questions about how conception works: Taking Charge of Your Fertility by Toni Weschler. It's a great source of information and helped me a ton.

Good luck!

Thanks Ladies!

I am definitely going to take a day off today! Besides, judging by the discharge info, I've passed my fertile point!

Thanks Again!
