I printed off a 20% coupon that I intended to use for some fall decorations. Of course, they didnt have what I was looking for, but decided to buy K a Princess camera for $6 for Xmas. I forgot to use the coupon, so I had the coupon and reciept in hand and mentioned that I literally just bought it and forgot to add the coupon. The mgr tells me it cannot be used for previous purchase items. You gotta be kidding me!

So...that means I can bring in the item, return it and buy another one to use the coupon? "If you want to bring it back in", he tells me. Whatever! I was so pissed and it wasnt worth my time to do that to get $1.20 back, but it wouldve been nice if I wouldnt thought about it at checkout!

were you in the store when you remembered had the coupon? if so, why couldn't they just do a quick fix-a-roo? i don't know that store, do they have a complicated return policy (fill out lots of forms)? it really shouldn't be that difficult to cancel a purchase and then re-ring it.
