Thumbs down Ridiculous
Completely ridiculous!

I'm trying to call a customer service line. I'm following all of their #$^@&-ing directions & pushing all the right buttons.

Then they put me on hold (with the music).

Then the recorded voice comes on and says "Your estimated wait time is ______."

And then the line goes dead. I wait for 2-3min... but that's it... it's dead.

I DID THIS THREE TIMES.

So then I look on-line & find an e-mail form. So I e-mailed them basically what I just wrote above.

I got an e-mail response saying that their phone lines had been tested & working and that I SHOULD CALL THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE NUMBER for further assistance with my problem.

I e-mailed them back with "THAT IS A RIDICULOUS RESPONSE TO MY E-MAIL" in huge, bold, red letters... even if it's just an automated system answering my e-mails... it made me feel better to do that.

So I called ONE MORE TIME and got through without waiting on hold (which is amazing in itself)... and then the woman who answered COULDN'T HELP ME ANYWAYS 'cause all of their computers are down.

OMG... somebody get me a drink.

I'm sorry! I know how those dang customer service phone lines are...I used to work that industry.We always tried to get upper management to change the phone prompts.....I hear they still havn't changed.
