Default Miscarriage questions

A week and 2 days ago I had my miscarriage. Dh always asks me what's on my mind, but I just don't want to talk about it. At least not to him. I know I should, I'm sure in the end it would make me feel better, I just can't seem to do it though. I'd rather write down how I'm feeling, but he would MUCH rather talk about stuff. I think part of it is that every time I DO talk about it, I end up in tears and then dh thinks he has to walk on eggshells around me and say certain things (which I've heard over and over again from him.)

Other than not wanting to talk about it, I'm doing alright. I have a couple questions though. Ever since last Thurs I've been getting these pounding headaches. My Dr told me I could take 3 Ibuprofen very 6 hours if need be, but it doesn't really help and Tylenol never has helped my headaches (Ibuprofen usually does) What can I do?

Also, my Dr said we should wait 2 cycles (about 3 months) until we start TTC again, but she never said how long we had to wait to start again. I REALLY have NO desire to start anything yet, but when I get back in the mood, I'm just wondring if there's a specific length of time we need to wait?

I'm sure there's more but I cant think of anything else right now. Any help/adviceis greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

You need to do what you can to help yourself along, just remember that Dh lost a baby too and he needs to be able to grieve with you.
I think when you start again depends on what type of miscarriage you had. If it was natural I think you can start again as soon as you stop bleeding and you feel up to it. I had D&Cs and my dr wanted me to wait a bit longer but I can't remember how long.

Thought of another one... Should I be getting any other tests done. She did an exam saying that with what I explained and what she found during the exam she didn't think there was need for an U/S or other testing and to come in (or call) with questions or if I feel there is something "wrong", but she didn't really say I needed any other tests. With everything I've been reading, it almost seems like Ishould be getting bloodwork done or something to make sure my HCg levels are falling properly?

I really shouldn't be reading stuff on the internet, I'm sure, but i figured I should do some research since I had some questions and now I have the "what if" syndrome going on (what if they missed something, what if there's still tissue inside, what if it was twins and there's still a baby in there... It's horrible!)

Of course when the nurse called yesterday to make sure everything was going ok i chickened out about asking ANY of my questions! I feel like they'll think I'm or something! I'm sure they get questions that are even more strange and I'm sure I should just call and ask or tell them my concerns, but I think I'll wait and see what kind of response I get on here first.

As soon as you stop bleeding and you feel up to it, you can start DTD again.

I think the headaches are caused by plummeting hormones, if I remember correctly? Ibuprofen should help.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I lost 2 babies back to back and it was devastating.
Thank you Sheri!
