Post what to do when baby would cry no stop?

Ok, i'm a single mom , I have a 10 month baby everytime i set him down he would start cry non stop. I give him toys he would play for a min then he would cry again. I couldn't get anything done. He not sick, i went to the doctor and they say he fine but i can't stand the crying or sceaming. Even my babysiter can't stand it, she can't get anything done with him. He don't want to play, then when we give him food, he would eats and he cry again. I held him like my arm want to fall off. I don't want to let him cry it out. Everytime i do i feel so bad and upset. PLz help before lose my mind.

I'm so sorry your having a rough time!

When my daughter was first born she cried all the time. Dh and I took turns pacing the house. She got so bad that we ended up just holding her as she screamed for about 10 minutes before she fell asleep every morning around 3 am. She ended up having milk allergies and had to be on a special hypoallergenic formula.

I would definitely look for a different doctor for another opinion. Poor little guy shouldn't be crying that much at 10 months.

My only suggestion is just keep holding him if that's the only way he's happy. Definitely get a sling so you can be hands free and get things done. One of the hotslings would be perfect to help you wear him on your hip. That way he's happy and you can still move around to get things done without your arms falling off.

I bet he is going through some attachment issues. Maybe try baby steps. Play with him on the floor. Take a few steps back. Play some more.

With my daughter I would just always talk to her. Even if I ran out of the room and she started crying.. I would assure her I was there and would be right back.
