Default who all is here?

Who's around? What do you do for your living?

I'm trying to get back into TBC but my job has been challenging!! I currently am the director of a child care facility that serves children from 6 weeks to 12 years old. I'm working about 50 hours a week, but the boys are here. I know not everyone is so lucky though.

Hi!

I'm here! Been away from TBC for a while, back a few weeks, and cant believe how much I've missed everyone!

I'm currently a Service Desk Manager for an IT helpdesk in a food manufacturing firm in the UK. I work 0930 - 1730 M-F. My job does mean at last I can get some TBC time in during the day! DS Jack (5) is at school, and in after school club between 3 and 6 (when I can collect him), and DD (2.5) is between pre-school and MIL.

Its great my family step in to help out with the childcare, but that in itself causes "issues" shall we say!

Hey girl~I check into this board every so often. There is a lot of SAHM on TBC and I like to remember that there are others slaving away at work like me! I don't mind being a working mother at all, it's just with the driving I feel like I spend a lot of time with Kendall in the car & now the friggin OT they are assigning us makes me wish Dh made enough (at a SECURE place with great benefits) so I could slave away at home only!

Anywho, I normally work M-F 8-5 at an insurance servicing company. (we service lenders) Pretty boring for the most part. I like my supervistors and have met some nice co-workers, but in general I keep to myself.

Hi!

I have been coming over here a little more often lately.

I'm an early childhood trainer and adjunct instructor at a local community college. I work a 40-hour week, plus one night a week when I'm teaching a class. Aislinn goes to a family child care home twice a week that's 5 minutes from my office, and I'm allowed to play with my daily schedule so my hours are shorter on those days.

Aislinn's with my parents the other three days. She'll be attending a regular preschool in the fall 3-4 days a week that's closer to home, so that either DH or I can do drop off. We've been so lucky that my parents are retired and wanted to care for her on a regular basis. She's probably the only grandchild they're going to get so they're loving it!
