Autumn is just around the corner.
Be ready to make these fun crafts with your kids.
Share these ideas with your child's teacher so the whole class can join in the fun.

Wreath of Leaves

You will need:
corrugated cardboard
yarn
poster board
glitter
fabric
newspaper
glue
scissors

Cut a doughnut shape from the cardboard to make a wreath. Wrap yarn completely around it.

Draw and cut out leaves from colored poster board. Working on an old newspaper, spread glue around the edges of the leaves and sprinkle them with glitter. Attach them to the wreath.

Cut a strip of fabric and make a bow for a decoration.

Attach a loop of yarn to the back of the wreath so you can hang it up.

Sukkah Plaque

You will need:
Plastic foam tray
construction paper
twigs
yarn
glue
scissors
marker

To make the walls, glue twigs around three edges of a plastic foam tray.

Color the inside of the tray with a marker and glue on a piece of paper for the floor. Glue on cut paper fruits and vegetables to the tray.

Make a loop from yarn and glue it to the back for a hanger.

Ann DeLong was a day care provider for thirteen years so she could stay home with her daughters. She found that she loved doing day care as a profession as well. Ann made a good living being a day care provider but the salary raises were few and far between. In the last 2 1/2 years Ann started a home based business that has become full time in just one year. You can check out Ann's website: Biometics and enter her contest to win samples of her biometics products every month.
