What is happening internally?

The uterine lining continues to shed, though in some women the bleeding may be in the form of "spotting" only - or ceased altogether.

Outward symptoms:

The basal body temperature should be in the low range, or heading downward. By now, all cramps, headaches, and bloating have stopped, though a few women may still experience these symptoms.

The egg(s) within the ovaries are preparing to mature.
