What is happening internally?

The follicles are almost mature. Estrogen is reaching its highest level. The uterine lining continues to build up, and prepare for an egg that is maturing for fertilization.

Outward symptoms:

Cervical fluid appears in creamy form. The cervix will be mid-level, and softer. Basal body temperature is in the low range.
