What is happening internally?

The corpus luteum is producing progesterone to maintain the uterine lining. If the ovum (egg) was fertilized by sperm, it will multiply in cells, called a morula.

Outward symptoms:

Basal body temperatures are high.

Cervix is low, firm, and closed. Cervical fluid is dry. You may begin to experience a little bloating, as you are in the luteal phase.
