Menstrual Cycle Day 16

What is happening internally?

The corpus luteum is producing progesterone to maintain the uterine lining. If the ovum (egg) was fertilized by sperm, it will multiply in cells, called a morula.

Outward symptoms:

Basal body temperatures are high. Cervix is low, firm, and closed. Cervical fluid is dry. You may begin to experience a little bloating, as you are in the luteal phase.
