What is happening internally?
The corpus luteum continues to release high amounts of progesterone to maintain the uterine lining. If conception occurred - the blastocyst finds a place in the thick uterine lining to implant. It burrows deep into the lining and grows at a rapid rate.
Outward symptoms:
Basal body temperatures remain high above the coverline. Cervix is low, firm and closed. Cervical fluid is dry. You may experience bloating or water retention. As a result of implantation of the fertilized egg, you may experience mild cramping and/or a bit of spotting.

I had 28 days menstrual cycle for years and taking birth control pills continuously for 6 years, but just this month i tried to stop taking the pills and i just had 21 days menstrual cycle, is this normal? what could be the reason behind that?
I'm hyaving alot of the cramping but not the spotting can i still concive
This website has been great. but still in limbo i am day 22 of my cycle and had mild cramps and spotting since dpo 21 my period is due cycle day 23 when would be the best time to test?

I have had a normal average 29 day cycle for the past 30 years always lasting 4.5 to 5 days i am now 43 and trying for my third baby for over a year now. this month i had a short period of 3 days and i am now on day 22. started bleeding yesterday on day 21 have no idea wat to think any suggestions should i be worried i have had tests and i am not going into memopause
