Menstrual Cycle Day 25

What is happening internally?

The corpus luteum continues to release high amounts of progesterone to maintain the uterine lining. The zygote (fertilized egg) is increasing in size and growing every day. The amounts of hCG keeps increasing.

If conception did not occur, the amount of progesterone being release begins to drop due to the corpus luteum dying.

Outward symptoms:

Basal body temperatures remain high above the coverline. Cervix may be low, firm and closed, or slightly raised and softer. Cervical fluid is dry or it may become creamy. You may experience bloating or water retention. You may experience a headache. You may have to urinate frequently and may or may not experience food cravings/aversions and fatigue. If conception did not occur your basal body temperature may be dropping down due to the corpus luteum dying. You may have water retention and headache.

From my experience its not bad to have a 25 day cycle. i have always had it that way and i dont ovulate on the normal days i ovulate in the first 3 days after my menstral cycle ends. everyone is different. i concived my son 2 days after my cycle ended and had a normal natural and healthy pregnancy

Its only bad if your o'ing after cd14, your luteal phase has to be at least 10 to 14 days to sustain a pregnancy. this is a problem i've had for the last 8 months, so my dr put me on progesterone to help...this is my 1st cycle using the progesterone so ill see if it works.
