To amelia, hey, my daughter ended up having a milk allergy and couldn't digest milk for the first year of her life. she had eating problems and a cough and it ended up being that along with acid reflux. they gave me something to help out with it. good luck.

My son has bad a slight cough since birth. the dr has never said anything about it. about 2 weeks ago he got a cold and has been hacking since. during the night it usually doenst wake him, but sometimes it's a pretty intense coug. where i think he may vomit. i'm thinking it's time to see the doctor, but i'm tired of going in there and not getting answers. she didn't have any answers about his eating problems and i doubt she'll have any about this cough. btw the runny nose is gone and he has no other symptoms of a cold anymore.

To krystal: i'm just curious, is your baby now and has she always been breastfed? it would seem quite normal to have such immune dysfunctions for a baby who has been fed formula from the start. either way, the only helpful advice i have is start getting probiotics into her body(do your research! they are so different in quality) and forget about the antibiotics, because that is undoubtedly creating a less resiliant immune system, because antibiotics kill everything, meaning good and bad bacteria. we all need certain good bacterias to thrive. i also recommend trying the naturopathic route....they can help to actually find the cause of the symptom and find a "cure" instead of a "band-aid" to mask the symptoms present at the moment. jope this brought some sort of helpful insight!
