I think this list set unrealistic expectations about what you need to bring home a newborn. I am having baby #2 and read this list and laughed. for #1 I would have bought everything on the list (I did buy most of it and it is still unused) Now that my son is two I know that I would have only used half of the stuff on this list. Most of it depends on your parenting style and preferences. no need to panic and buy everything at once. remember, you will be able to go to the store in a couple of weeks or have someone go for you if you feel you are in need of something. Just get the basics.

Thats why there are baby showers lol thats 2 much stuff that they will grow into them to fast

Umm thats an awful lot of stuff most of which i wont need for at least a few months if not until they walk or even ever. i dont think its a very helpful list for a newborn.

Yeah it helped a lot... Its a vary long list lots of things to buy... But it all gets put to use

I think that this is a great source for 1st time moms, I had not even thought about some of the things on this list
