Baby Talk: Reese Witherspoon Discusses Her Pregnancy

Academy Award-winning actress, Reese Witherspoon appeared in Chicago on Saturday, June 23, at the Ritz-Carlton Chicago to accept her Renaissance Award and to attend the gala summer event which is a fundraiser for the Gene Siskel Film Center of the School of the Art Institute. She also hosted, "An Evening with Reese Witherspoon," as part of the event.
Wearing a navy blue v-neck dress, Reese was looking undeniably with-child.
This was the first public confirmation that Witherspoon and her husband, Jim Toth are indeed expecting a child together.
Back in March rumors surfaced of a baby, and UsWeekly finally validated the rumors with close friends spilling the beans on the couple.
What is up in the air is exactly when she is due, only that it is late summer or early fall. She also would not say whether she is expecting a boy or a girl, or what names the couple is considering.
This is Reese's third child. She has a daughter, Ava Elizabeth who was born in 1999, and a son, Deacon who was born in 2003. These children are with her ex-husband, Ryan Phillippe. In 2011Witherspoon wed Toth.
When asked if she would avoid tasty Chicago style pizza while in town, Witherspoon laughed and said, "Maybe, but it's not easy. I'm always feeling like I'd like to eat everything in sight!"
She discussed her upcoming project with actor Colin Firth, a film titled, "Devil's Knot, " and then quipped, "And, after I finish that, I'm going to take a little time off -- and go have a baby," Witherspoon said , winking.
Witherspoon became well known with her lead role in "Legally Blonde," and won her Oscar for "Walk the Line," playing June Carter Cash. She also appeared in films such as "Sweet Home Alabama," "Cruel Intentions," "Election," and "Pleasantville."
