Pregnancy Week 28 Discussion

I'm 28 weeks & 3 days . i am losing so much sleep at night now but i'm happy to be in the last trimester . my son is very low already so i'm kind of afraid to walk everyday although i hear it makes labor easier . guess ill just ask my obgyn. congrats to the new mothers :) this is my first as well . hope everyone enjoys being a mommy

This is week 28 for me. i feel very uncomfortable, like moving is a chore. i was over-weight to begin with and my stomach is now really getting in the way of even tying my shows. shortness of breath, heartburn, fatigue and general unrest are issues. i hope to soon reach a point of less discomfort, because i know with nearly three months left to go, this could be a bumpy ride. this is my second child. my daughter turns 14 years old this month. maybe it's just my age, but this time i'm noticing so many more unpleasant bodily issues.

I'm 28 weeks + 3 days with my second baby. this has been such a different pregnancy from my first. first one went so smoothly except morning sickness in the beginning. this time round i had nausea and food aversions without any actual sickness. i was extremely tired in 1st trimester and now i'm having dizzy spells, heartburn and reflux, leg cramps at night and awful back ache. i'm finding it hard to sleep at all. so excited for my baby coming though. can't wait for cuddles.

I'm 28 weeks pregnant i have had a really bad precnancy with morning sickness and headaches now iam starting to feel a lot of presure down there like i always have to go the bathroom when i get there nothing are there anybody else having the same promblem

I am a little over 28 weeks now and i am lucky to have made it this far along in my pregnancy. i started to go into labor at 25 weeks. the placenta started to detach from my uterus and they were almost sure i was going to have my daughter within 24 hours. i was in the hospital on bedrest for a week and they let me go home with restrictions to be on bed rest of the rest of my pregnancy. i had my son at 26 weeks so for me to make it this far is unbelievable and i pray to god everyday to make it one week longer.

Hi i'm 28 wks with my 1st (it's a girl) 4 the past week i've had numbness starting in my feet and now its worked its way up 2 my hips i can't even tell when i'm using the bathroom until i hear it..anyways has anyone ever experienced this b4? also i'm not feeling her move as much as b4.

I am 28 weeks, and i am having our number 3:) funny when you convinced yourself to have only one, and then 8 years later another, and now almost three years later here we go again, lol. i have two boys who i absolutely adore and from a vague ultrasound that was given at the hospital my best guess is that this one's a girl:)) they wont tell you the sex no matter how you beg....so anyway, just thought i would share my joy, and this pregnancy seems to be my easiest so far, bigger faster this time around than the other two. i have felt great but mostly complain of fatigue and wanting to sleep constantly during 2nd trimester, but as of today i think my nesting phase has officially begun. good luck ladies:)

I am 27 weeks along and i haven't gotten any sore feet i am a diabetic pregnant woman and i am almost active all day i go to college and walk from class to class it depends where i go for the day,i am gaining so much weight but i am always walking no matter what.?can someone tell me what the problem might be?i gained 8 punds since the 12th week of my pregnancy.i need some advice so my baby's and my life won't be at risk.?

I,ve now entered my 28th week and it has been bliss all the way except for some pain on my pelvic when i raise my legs and which the doc said it was ok especially this been my third baby.am so unexplainably excited with baby 3 like it was my first,i cant wait to have it(gender not known)in my arms. i mostly daaydream and picture it leaving me all smilley, collegues atwork think am just so full of this baby,i cant remember this feeling with the other 2 makes me feel guilty for sometimes b4 another kick and am in distant cloud with baby 3. to allexpectant mums congrats and enjoy the journey.

Well i started my 28th week today, and its my first one a precious lil boy lol...so far pregnancy has been great, no morning sickness at all, im gaining wait and getting bigger and im actually pretty happy about that, of course i have normal pains in my back, a couple in my abdomen but other than that im super ecstatic...i cant wait to see my lil one i am wondering what he will look like...hopefully not like his dad haha

I'm 28 weeks and this is my first pregnancy! i've gained about 16lbs and my tummy is huge. i love feeling my baby boy moving around all the time:) i'm tired all the time and have been since the 2nd trimester. first trimester was bliss, second horrible and now that the morning sickness is gone i just need to make myself get out of the house and go for walks every day which is very hard. also been having a hard time sleeping, but i've found that having a full body pillow helps a lot, for underneath my belly and inbetween my knees. good luck to all you mothers to be!

I am 28 weeks and feel great! this is my first pregnancy and i am still teaching 18 kindergarten students everyday and wearing high heels. i'm sure this will change soon:)

Wow, so many comments about painful and uncomfortable pregnancies on here. i feel lucky to not be having this. this is my first and so far so good. i'm 28 weeks today, cannot wait to meet my little man :)

I'm 28 weeks pregnant and its been horrible every minute of it. being tired all the time makes me feel frustrated and upset.

I'll start my 28 weeks tomorrow. my first trimester was hard, i had morning sickness until the 14 week, but since then i feel great. i little more tired, and sleep hours longer then before the pregnancy, but no pain, no huge heavy belly. i'm able to do 40 minutes pregnancy exercise every day. can't wait to see my baby boy:-)

Today i hot my 28 weeks mark. this is my fourth pregnancy & i'm counting down the days. i'm in constant pain & sleep seems like a distant memory. every pregnancy is different & that couldn't be. anymore truthful. believe me ladies i'm truly done after this one. i love all my babies!! but i've suffered enough. this one will make it boy # 3 & one baby girl. my daughters bday is christmas & my due date is dec 20!! lol good luck to u all & enjoy ur blessings!!!!

I am 28 weeks, and feel so tired all of the time, i am so huge, most ppl think i'm carrying twins and should already be due at this point but i still have 2 1/2 months to go before this baby arrives. this is my 3rd and last baby that i will have in this lifetime. ha..ha.. i love having my kids and all, but do not enjoy any of the pregnancies. good luck to all you mommies out there.

28 weeks and getting compliments all the time on how great i look. feel pretty good too, althought i'm sure i'm going to get less mobile. 2nd trimester was great. i have a sharp pain in right side, have for weeks. maybe gallbladder, maybe torn ligament, but either way it won't go away. that's about my only complaint. can't wait to meet our little boy. i keep trying to picture what he will look like, but...guess we'll have to wait and see! good luck to you all!

I start week28 tomorrow. energy level is definitely lower; walking short distances is like a marathon. sitting for long periods makes my tailbone ache. belly definitely feels 'heavy' compared to previously. can't wait to be done with this.

This is my first pregnancy and am finally also at 28 weeks!!! i am tired all the time!!! i too am getting some dull, and some times sharp pains low down, front on the right side. not sure why but sometimes its painful to stand straight after getting out of a chair. but i exprect these will go soon. as its my first i am worried about everything!! looking to have a water birth as i have heard that this can speed things up a little more, and also less stressful for both me and my little girl! i can't wait to meet her, and to see what my little girl will look like etc. congrats to everyone, and wish you all good luck with the birth etc. x

Seems so true the baby is taking over! lol> it's much harder doing things 28 wks preggo. cleaning has to be done in sessions not a whole day event; and exercising has been cut down as well. fatigue has taken a toll and i could easily take 2-3 naps a day. i know it will all be worth it. much preggo luv. kim

I'm 28 weeks and 1 day! this is my first pregnancy!! :d we had a ultrasound today and she measured in 2 days ahead!! :d im so ready for my lil girl to get here!!!

I am 28 weeks today and am feeling great! i have been doing wii fit every weekday and i think that has helped me tremendously. i have two girls already and am excited to see my new little boy!! time feels like its slowing down at this point :-)

Im 28 weeks today!! this is my first pregnancy && im so excited to meet my lil man :) i dont wanna wait 12 more wks lol but i guess he could make me wait longer if he wants... i hurt alot at nighttime so i think ill prolly go into labor at night, also sleep is getting really hard! ive been feeling him kick since i was 15 wks so maybe he will come a little sooner :)

Wow i am so excited to hold my angel in my arms!! i feel like i already know her, she's a part of me, mine, this is my first and i already feel a strong connection spirtually with her and emotionally, i cannot express how i am going to feel when i look into her eyes, thinking about it brings tears to my eyes. god bless all and ha ve a happy nice pregnancy!! :)..

Hi everyone!! i'm just so happy im already 28wks!!this is my first first pregnacy i feel good!i cant wait to meet my baby in april!!! im so happy!!:-)

This is my 2nd pregnancy and now it's 10 years later with lil man...im 28 wks and can hardly get some good sleep..i'm up all night and when i finally get some rest it's morning...during the day im extremely tired and cant do much. i know i have to walk at least 20 mins a day but i just to much and tiring...i have less than 12 more wks to go and i really hope that i'll feel less tired soon and can catch up with my daily walks.

This is my 1st pregnancy and i'm so nervous, i was real sick 1st trimester, ok 2nd trimester, now i feel good, but still get morning sickness about 4 days outta the wk and have a real time getting outta bed, real tired!!

I've finally made it to the 28th wk mark and im excited to be 70% done..i can't wait til this chick is out of me.i've been having lots of pelvic pains.i go for my first in depth ultrasound tomorrow..(seems a lil late for that) but whatever.. my dr told me to start counting movements and to give her 2hrs to do 10 movements..but she knocks that out in 10mins..! very active busy bee..congrats 2 all tha expecting mothers and happy holidays! =)

Its been a good pregnany but i have had alot of back pain and now its harder to sleep at night... cant wait for the baby to get here and for my body to go back down to normal..

I have felt like crap my first trimester then my second i felt like i could do anything now i im in my third trimester and i have my ups and downs i notice that i cant remember anything and i mean anything i also am hungry all the time i walk like a duck and sleep thats a really bad subject because i dont get any but i guess its getting me ready for the days to come with my little one but other than that i am doing good i guess

This is my third pregnancy, kinda getting tired of being pregnant..ready to have the toes to count...went to my normal appointment for the baby this week and they changed me to every 2 week appointments...washed all the baby linen and put up the crib and bassinett... my other two "babies" are very excited to meet thier sister. they are handling it all very well. everything has gone very well so far except a bp problem early on and the last few weeks ive been very achey in the pubic area but the docter assured me that it was because this is my third pregnancy the more babies you have the harder pregnancy gets to tolerate. and chasing a 2 and 4 year old doesnt help. lol! other than that everything is great just waiting on my third baby girl to get here..... :)
