  • Hi, I lost a baby at 7 weeks in October, and just got my first period since the loss last week. I have a blood disorder, and the last pregnancy was a suprise, so I was not taking folic acid at the time, and they think that could have had something to do with the loss. Now I am on folic and prenantal vitamins, and like my last pregnancy will have to be on blood thinner once (God willing) we do concieve. We are not officially trying until May, because dh is deploying (in the Air Force) in January. But we are not preventing now and are just anxious and hoping the next pregnancy will be a healthy one.
