Preschool and the potty

08-17-12 | 05:41 PM - Alex is due to start preschool soon and he finally conquered peeing while standing...but he has difficulty with his pants. So I'm worried that he's going to get the boot from preschool if he isn't able to do it himself.
Anyone have any tips for mastering the pants situation?- hklord

As for preschool I think they are aware that most 3 year old boys still have weak points of potty training. Joseph's struggle was pooping but he is getting it now. His teacher also used to be a 2 year old teacher at a daycare so she understands their obstacles. Be open with the teacher and director about where his strengths and weaknesses are. They should want to help with the refining of skill if the basics are mastered.- cjdj3 10-18-12 | 02:49 PM
- With Thomas he always pulls his pants down all the way and pees. We have to teach him not to do this.
