Brooke told me yesterday that Mrs. Tammy pulled the bus over at the High School and told them that they needed to be quiet, she might have an accident with all the loud talking and shouting etc... I asked Brooke who was talking and she said the back of the bus which is the 5th graders.

Then she said the policeman stopped to make sure everything was OK and Mrs. Tammy told him what she was doing so he got on the bus and gave them all a talk about safety. They were 10 minutes late getting home yesterday.

And I read about that incident last week. I think more fathers should do that. Randy got on our bus here last year when a Sub was allowing a two 4th graders to sit on Braedon's seat because he didn't know the route and Braedon was scared to death and it was dangerous for 3 kids to be on the seat. He was in PREK! Randy tried to talk to the bus driver and he started shutting the door in his face, Randy stepped onto the bus and informed him his son would NOT be riding on a seat with 2 4th grade kids and he was not getting off the bus till it was resolved.

Technically they could have reported him but the bus driver was reasonable at that point and moved Braedon to a seat with another kid.

That is an awesome bus driver and officer to teach the kids how to behave on a bus.

Kids need to learn respect and responsibility somewhere. I guess if some parents aren't able to teach them, I'm thankful for people like that who step up and show them how to behave.
