My school district won't tell kids what they can and can't wear because of the civil liberties infringement. The only statement they make is that clothes can't bear an illegal or immoral message -- like drugs, smoking or sex.
    .
Thats carrying the PC crap too far. its a safety issue, not a civil liberties issue!

  • Oh -- believe me--- I totally agree!! I'm a teacher and a parent -- the meanest parent in town since I won't let my kid wear sandals to school.

I am constantly telling kids it's unsafe, but I'm just an old dork!!

Actually, they have to take the wheels out of the heelies -- no rolling footgear (or backpacks)....

The school board did just pass a dress code, but it's so wimpy that it's laughable!!
