  • Does your school do them? Is your child participating?

  • We've already talked about it but I'll answer here too!

Lauren is in 2nd grade. Her school has a science fair for 3-6 grade but dd was given permission to enter a project! She is thrilled. Right now we're trying to decide what to do. The project has to be "investigatory". So far Lauren likes the Tooth Decay experiment and ones about plants.

I'd love to hear other ideas...we need to decide very soon!

  • I alway like the carnation experiment and the drawing up colored water.

    I'm a softy, though

  • We have one every spring but it isn't really well organized.

  •

I teach in middle school and my son is in 1st -- neither building do one -- actually, I'm not sure my district does one at all...

We have young science, inventors, future cities, and robotics clubs at lots of levels, and odyssey of the mind... Not sure why we don't have science fairs...
