  • What time is lights out for your kiddo? How early before that do you start getting ready for bed? What'd your routine consist of?

  • Lights out has vaired for us over the past few weeks, due to different events going on and us staying out later then planned.

We usually start getting ready for bed about 20 - 30 mins before, not including bath time since that usually goes on while I'm cooking dinner.

Hannah brushes her teeth, makes sure toys she played with have been put away and then we read, do good night hugs and kisses and then lights out.

  • 8pm is bed time (or as close to it as we can). Bath has to be started by 7:30 then into jammies, dessert (if they are getting something- usually something small and some milk), then brush teeth, story, then into bed, lights out.

  • Between 8 & 9. If I have had a long day or if they are overly tired 7:30! Sometimes they'll play upstairs before bed (which is fine as long as they don't fight) but they usually fall asleep around 8:30.

  • Zachary takes his shower around 8. He usually plays on my computer or a video game till 8:30. Then him and his brother wander into bed.
