  • I just called to get the results from my 1st trimester GTT and it was really low. The cutoff is 135 and mine came back at 40!!! I'm so relieved. I never have had a problem with this but I always think I'm going to for some reason. Now I don't have to do that again until I'm 28 weeks.

Does anyone else do an early 1st trimester GTT?

  • After reading your post I did some research and now I wonder if this is something I should be worried about. I think I'll call back my OB this morning and ask them.

Everything I just read sad that under 70 can be considered hypoglycemic but the range can vary depending on circumstances and some say anything under 40 is a problem. For the most part I'm feeling fine so I don't think this is affecting me at all but I'm going to have it checked out to be sure.

    Thanks for the information.

  • When I spoke with my OB's office they told me that my # was fine. It was so low because I fasted. They told me that as long as I was eating healthy I shouldn't be concerned especially if I'm feeling fine.
