I had an appt today and got to the heartbeat again, but this time is was much louder & stronger and the nurse stayed longer so I got to hear more of it, yay! We also heard a lot of movement, she said I had a wiggler in there.

My next appt is set for Jan 3rd and I will my ulstrasound and 1 hour glucose test that day. I am thinking of bringing Kendall to see the ultrasound and find out the gender with us. Have any of you done that? She is about 2.5 years old and I think it will help her realize what is going on, plus it will be fun to experience as a whole family I think.

Oh, and my belly is seriously sticking out now, it really has gotten bigger since Thanksgiving. Everyone can tell I am preggers now, but the wierd thing is I can still wear my own pants. I guess since I had lost weight before-hand?? It does seem a little higher already than with Kendall....could be a sign of a boy?

Oh how wonderful. We took our dd to our gender ultrasound YEARS ago with my ds. He had his legs spread open to make sure we knew who he was. My dd was 4 1/2 then but she pointed and asked what that was...very funny moment.

From my experiance when i was pregnant with my ds he was up higher and represented more of a basketball then an overall big...kwim?
I'm sure everybody is different though.
So excited for you and your ultrasound!
