  • Never thought I would be on a site like this! My daughters are grown (24 & 18) and I have a four year old grandaughter and I just found out I'm pregnant (5wks). Is there anyone else in the same situation? I'm in shock and feel alone in my situation.

  • You are an extremely young grandmother! Congratulations - what a surprise. Of course, I don't think 41 is old to be pregnant, considering that I am 42 and have two kids 4 and under.

  • My dh & I had a surprise baby at 39/40 I admit at first I could only cry as it was not what I expected & I did not tell dh at first I had to digest it all first , but a few yrs later I am doing it I do get exhausted at times but boy I have pateince like you would not beleive & I enjoy every moment of my little man. My older ones are 15 & 10 so not the age gap you will have. There are many woman out there having babies in our same age range.

My boys when I told them both thought that it was the stupidest thing they heard & that I was way way to old for a baby lol.

Good luck with it all hopefully your feelings of being alone don't last
