  • We used vaseline on our first DD. Her skin was waaaay sensitive to everything, even baby oil!

  • I remember the Neonatal nurses telling me not use any kind of lotion on a newborn's skin, as it clogs their pores and makes them break out. At one point later on, I tried some J&J lotion (the classic pink bottle) on my daughter, and she had the most awful reaction.

Be careful! And good luck - your baby's due date is my birthday.

  • We use California Baby as it is made for sensitive skin. I have VERY sensitive skin and am being careful as it looks like DD does too (she also has occational eczema). I haven't tried their lotion yet, but am going to get some. All of the other brands have SO much fragrance!

  • I use Aveeno lotion and hypoallergenic body wash on my little ones. Nothing scented though, not even the wipes.
