  • I talked with my OB billing office and my insurance company today! The OB billed my insurance saying that the baby was small for gestational age as the reason for the U/S. They said I was 12 weeks and the baby measured 10, so that sounds good. As it was medically needed, they covered it 100%.

    In talking with the insurance person, who read off stuff that didn't make any sense, she told me simply that the 20 week U/S would be covered 100% and it wouldn't be applied to my deductible! She said there is no reason to wait until January unless I needed an MRI as it won't apply to this yrs or next yrs deductible! So I'm just sitting around waiting for my DH to get back to his desk to see what days would be good to go in! I won't have to wait until January! I'm excited!
