  • And I don't know anything more then when I went in there

They gave me a due date of April 15th. I go back in 3 weeks and they'll do an U/S then and I'll have the real due date

They took 4 vials of blood and a huge urine sample and took my history and such. Which meant I had to tell my birth story complications and the poor nurse was I think shocked that I'd try for another

  • Oh geez! I was sure hoping that you could get an accurate due date.Maybe with the blood they can get a Hcg count and maybe a better idea of how far along you are.
    Just hurry up and wait!

  • I know right! They also told me that my insurance will only cover one U/S a pg! So I'll have to pay out of pocket to date the pg (apparently this isn't a medical need) if I want them to cover the more expensive 20 week one!

  • What a pain insurance is!!!

Well, so far we share a due date!! How nice if our little tax rebates showed up on tax day.

    Anything but April 1st, right?!

Can't wait to hear more later!!

I cant believe that knowing how far along you are is not a medical need. There are certain tests that have to be performed at a certain time in your pregnancy so I would think if you are not sure when you concieved that they should consider it a medical need for an u/s right now.
