  • so im glad I have this place to ask embarrassing questions, well not embarrassing just questions i'd rather ask people I dont know! Lol.

Okay soo I know that when your close to delivery your breasts start to leak, yet mine already are. Should I bring this up to my obgyn at my next appointment or is this normal? any answers/advise would be great

  • Everyone is different - it is completely normal, but you can check with your OB to be sure.

Mine leaked with my older 2 boys around 20 weeks, and this time just started leaking about a week ago (I'm 37 weeks now). The first time it happened, I thought I'd spilled something on myself in that spot and was laughing with dh saying "I'm lactating." Then the next day, I leaked in the same spot again and "investigated" and realized that I really was leaking!

  • I never actually leaked out when I was PG... I could express some liquid if I wanted to. You could mention it to your OB just for peace of mind, but I think you're well within the realm of normal!

  • I leaked early with both my pregnancies, not a lot just a few spots here and there, mostly when I didnt have my bra on, its a little annoying at times, but if your planning on bf'ing I can tell you I had more than enough to feed multiple babies, dont know if leaking has anything to do with it though : )
