To wait or not to wait...

  • That is the question that will be answered tomorrow at my 11:40am doctor appt.

It's either wait and let mother nature do her thing on her schedule or strip the membranes and plan an induction...

Either way, I'm nervous... Can I really be having a baby within a week???

I'm totally ready and really bored at home, so whether it's mother nature or doctor prompted, I say BRING IT ON!!!!

  • I'd totally go for the stripping of membranes either way! Then go walk a ton if you can with your ankle in the shape its in. Eat 1/2 a fresh pineapple and pray you go into labor that night

I hope you are holding your baby girl soon!

  • We wait!

Baby is still up at 2, and I'm only 2cm dilated. So, I go back next Monday and we'll see what happens then... It will be one day after my due date, so they will be more aggressive on inducing/irritating the membranes, etc...

Ugh... another week... I can't believe it since they were worried I might have the baby any day at 35 weeks.

Try a little BDing tonight (yes, it's hilarious to even think about it) and enjoy a beer. That's bound to get something going.

A close friend of mine has gone well overdue with all 4 of her children and the beer/sex trick works to get things moving.

    If you're already 2cm, that's a good start.

Just encourage it a little farther and you might be in business before Wednesday.
