Default hernia and pregnant

I have a hernia and 17 weeks pregnant. I haven't had any prenatal care yet. I had a sonogram 3 weeks ago. Been having discomfort. Anyone with hernia

Hernias during pregnancy will not affect the baby. But I have heard that it's better not to undergo hernia surgery during pregnancy. You can undergo the surgery after delivery.
