  • is too much for a 7 week old? He is not sleeping through the night, but he sleeps a total of 8-10 hours at night and is really sleeping between most feedings for at least 30 minutes to an hour or so. He really doesn't have an awake period during the day yet-not that I am complaining! I just thought dd was very awake during the day by now.

  • I'd have to go back & check my baby-book entires, but I am pretty sure dd was still sleeping the majority of the time. I think he longest awake stretch at that age was evening time for about an hour, then it was back to eating & sleeping, lol!

  • That sounds very typical to me.

  • My book says babies this age can sleep up to 20 hours a day. Brady was sleeping more than that probably.
All of a sudden, he woke up though!
    Enjoy it while it lasts!

  • It sounds normal to me. They pretty much sleep most of the day at that age.
