01-29-10 | 04:42 PM - that was from someone you never met but he said he and his wife saw your house and if we are interested they want to make us an offer, what would you do?

01-29-10 | 05:04 PM - Not believe it in a million years. Unless my house was really really special and I had gotten letters/offers in the past I would disregard this as a scam.

Given what you told us on the Money Matters board, it was likely someone who saw a list of houses going up for foreclosure and is now phishing for suckers.- MrsS1stbaby
01-29-10 | 05:37 PM - Um, tell them that my house isn't for sale? Actually, I'd probably wouldn't even respond. I know that I would LOVE to move out of my house right now & I know the market is crappy right now, but I'd be wary of someone sending me a letter telling me they want my house out of the blue.

01-29-10 | 05:51 PM - Sounds like a scam. I'd tear up the letter.
