  • Rachel's ears were pierced in Dec. Its been about 6 wks. I bought her new earings for V-day but I noticed the posts are very thin. Will her holes close up smaller or do you think its ok for her to wear them?

I wouldn't have thought of it but the earings my ears were pierced with had thin posts & I ended up getting them re-pierced a few years ago because I couldn't wear most earings.

  • At that age they close very quickly. There is a chance that they could close to the size of the post. If you go back and forth every couple of days they may be ok though.

  • Also remember that the ones that they use to pierce ears are generally a little thicker than normal too.

  • Maybe I'll wait & give them to her another time.

  • I'd wait. Or at least give them to her and tell her that she can wear them when her ears have healed a little better.
