  • I think it's an old wives' tale. The main reason I wouldn't want to do it is in case the power goes out by a lightning strike and then I'm left with a dark bathroom and two screaming, sopping wet children clamoring to get out of the tub, and in the process, drenching me and piercing my eardrums.
