I would guess it depends on the baby. my dd who is 3 months can have nights where she is all the way through asleep to ones where she is up once or twice a night. if your breast feeding, it might help to give one bottle if formula at night before bedtime as going to bed on a full tummy helped my dd a treat when things like sleep school ( yes that is a thing) didnt work for her and made it a nightmare putting her to bed. my dd is teething earily too so she does wake up due to pain occasionally so I let her play till she is tired again and she will sleep for another 3-4 hours afterwards. (she us a midnight -1 am waker) also, babies tend to go to bed earlier than we do so getting used to going to bed earily when they do makes it alot easier when they wake in the night.
