  • Hi...
I have a question to bonce off of you girls! I was out of town this week for 4 days and pumping the whole time. I had the hotel freeze the milk with the intenion of shipping it back w/ dry ice. That plan fizzled when the dry ice the hotel had ordered for me disintregraded! I packed the bags in a cooler with a ton of ice/packs. By the time I arrived home his am (red eye) the milk was not solidly frozen but more like slushy wih harder frozen pieces in the middle. Do you think it should all be thrown out? I am beginning to wean...but was hoping to have this to mix with some formula in bottles to ease the transition. Any opinions?

  • You really shouldn't refreeze. I would use what you can now and pump and freeze the fresh stuff.

  • IA, its probably better to use it, if you refreeze it, it might be bad.
